A Little About Myself...

Hi! My names Kieron Keenan, I'm 22 years old and from Clondalkin, Dublin. I attended school in Rochfortbridge, Co. Westmeath and I am now living in Dromod, Co. Leitrim. I have just finished up a HETAC Level 8 Certificate in Computing and Web Technologies at the National College of Ireland.

I am extremely passionate about developing websites and meeting web standards.

I love to code websites by hand, this is a must for me. With an advanced knowledge of XHTML and CSS I create semantic mark-up, adding to the website’s accessibility and SEO.

When it comes to design, I have the up-most attention to detail. With in-dept knowledge of CSS, using Adobe Photoshop and Fireworks I can create a unique website design for every project I undertake.

I use PHP and MySQL for back-end programming. I have created my own content management system for several websites I have developed. I use jQuery and Javascript, making the client's website more interactive and enjoyable and also I can adopt WordPress as a content management system which allows the client full control over their website while also keeping my semantic mark-up and clean code.

I started developing with Ruby on Rails while studying web technologies at the National College of Ireland in 2010. I have created a handful of projects with Ruby and hope to learn and develop more in the future.

I am currently studying in Sligo for the MySQL 5 developer exam and will be seeking full time work in a web development company where I can further develop my skills and work with like-minded people who have a passion for creating website’s.
